This backyard wedding was a special one for sure, I used to work for the Holtz Leather so when they asked me to photograph their oldest daughter’s wedding, I was completely honored. I was the graphic designer for their leather company and through that opportunity, I’ve been able to get to know their sweet (and quickly growing) family. And if you know the Holtz family, you know that they’re all about one thing: family. This wedding was no exception.
Madison is the oldest of the Holtz children and I always remember how much of a hard worker she was when she came into the office! Isaac and Madison grew up together and dated since they were young so it was only a matter of time before they got married.
The sweetest leather and vintage rug details were EVERYWHERE
Isaac comes from a big family as well! He’s the youngest, so this wedding was a bittersweet one for his mom
Probably the only wedding where the bride asks, “can our families watch our first look?” Sweetest moment to have them watching from the porch!
And then this happened…
I told you…they have a big family
Isaac + Madison decided to have their wedding at two very special places. The ceremony was at his family home and the reception was at Madison’s family home.
The view was beautiful and you could literally see the rain coming…
Thankfully, everyone in the crowd prayed for it to bypass the ceremony… and it did right after a few really cool photos 🙂
The moment everyone’s heart stopped…
The ring bearer (Madison’s brother) throws the ring over
But the box was empty 😉
That just married feeling
It was so much fun to be apart of this wedding day!
