We originally planned this fun bridal styled session at the Ledges in Huntsville and there was nothing normal about this bridal shoot. When I first started planning for this, the vision was completely different. I wanted to have a carefree couple (similar to what I normally shoot) and a beautiful overlook at a beautiful venue in town, blah blah blah. I woke up that Monday morning (honestly really exhausted from a busy weekend) and realized the weather was AWFUL and had two choices: be pouty and assume the day was going to be a flop OR we could embrace the reality and have tons of fun.

LUCKILY, I had the coolest group of girls around me that day. When I sent out the “rain or shine” email, I expected disappointment that it wouldn’t be what they expected. But honestly everyone was so chill and had fun with it.
When I drove up the long driveway to the Ledges, the fog got thicker and thicker…at that point I knew that this was going to be better than expected.

I think I speak for everyone involved that we left refreshed and inspired after this shoot. Sometimes things have to go wrong in order for us to let go and fully embrace the reality around us. And sometimes you come away with some really unique images we wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. 🙂

These girls were so much to have by my side for this foggy session! They have the sweetest and BEST attitudes and have such a unique eye. So proud of them!!

Kallie, she was our blonde beauty for the day and honestly is the sweetest person ever. She drove all the way from Birmingham and I’m so thankful she was apart of this session!
