An engagement session above all is just fun. A fun date idea anyone?? This is it! Make a day out of it. Pick a few things that you two love to do together or maybe an activity that brings some nostalgia back to your relationship and end it off with an engagement session. You’ll be amazed at how in love you’ll feel afterwards and have some photos to remember it by! Let’s be real, being in front of a camera can be awkward at times and it can be hard to feel like yourself with a stranger following you around like paparazzi! Doing an engagement session gives us time just to be goofy together and get all those camera shy jitters out of the way. That way when the wedding rolls around, you’re comfortable and I feel more like a friend than a professional you’ve hired. You’ll be amazed at how much of a difference this makes!

Mariah photographed my fiancé and I for engagement pictures and we were both extremely aware of the fact we had no clue what to do. She made things go so smoothly, didn’t pressure us for time, and my fiancé even said he enjoyed it! It was so much fun. I cannot wait for her to do our wedding!!
One of my favorite things was the NEXT MORNING she gave me 10 completed sneak peak photos and had all of my edited photos done in a week. This was phenomenal to me!

WE HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME
I’m super picky with who I wanted to be our wedding photographer. I didn’t want just anyone, I wanted someone who has editing skills with the particular aesthetic that I like and also someone who could bring out the best in us through pictures.
