The Barn at Grant Station Melbourne Florida Wedding

This Melbourne Florida wedding was perfect in every way, The Barn at Grant Station was not their initial wedding venue they had booked but plans rapidly changed the week of their wedding so Carey and Vanessa re-planned their entire wedding in three days. I’m pleased to tell you, no one would have ever noticed. The details all fell together with some help from family and friends and by the end of the day, Carey and Vanessa were married and nothing else seemed to matter.

I met Carey and Vanessa in California, ironically. I decided to do a shoot while on vacation and a mutual friend connected us. That session in San Diego was absolutely perfect and we instantly felt like long time friends (you can see their Sunset Cliffs Session here). Carey and Vanessa are those type of people that are kind to their core and it’s obvious how much they love each other.

They met as athletes at Vanderbilt University and while Carey is from Ohio and Vanessa is from Florida, they both ended up in Los Angeles together before Carey proposed! Their wedding comprised of sweet friends from Vanderbilt, Ohio, and Melbourne and it was such a sweet celebration to be apart of 🙂
